Avreo Management

John Sloan, Chairman and CEO

Mr. Sloan is responsible for overseeing all corporate operations and Planning. His prior experience in providing medical equipment and services to meet the needs of Radiology Groups, Hospitals and Multi-Specialty Organizations provides him with the clarity and focus required to shape the company into a leading provider of information technology for Radiology. Prior to joining Avreo, Mr. Sloan was President of CMS Imaging, a leading provider of radiology modalities, information systems and services in the southeast. During his tenure the company expanded its revenue base from South Carolina into Georgia, Florida and Alabama.

Greg Couch, Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Couch is responsible for overseeing all accounting, auditing, and financial management operations. His prior experiences in managing financial needs of several medical imaging companies gives him the knowledge to confidently perform his duties in a time when all financial information is scrutinized.

Jonah Still, Chief Technology Officer, Chief Compliance Officer

Mr. Still is Chief Technology Officer and Chief Compliance Officer with extensive experience in Computer Aided Engineering and Manufacturing systems. He worked for Shell Offshore designing and implementing CAE systems to automate the engineering design output from an object oriented model of engineering parameters. Previous to Shell Offshore, Mr. Still worked for Exxon Mobil overseeing the economics and operations of some of the largest platforms and reservoirs located in the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Still designed/implemented many Computer Aided Manufacturing Systems for fortune 500 companies such as Baxter Healthcare, Mars Inc., and Uncle Ben's. In the 80s, Mr. Still received awards for his voice recognition programming system from the FAA.

Don Fulk, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Fulk is responsible for overseeing operations at Avreo. His prior experience in healthcare IT and management gives him the knowledge and resources needed to provide strategic planning and leadership. Prior to joining Avreo, Mr. Fulk worked as the Chief Information Officer at Orion Medical Management, Tower Imaging and Radiology Associates of Tampa for 10 years. He has extensive experience in application development, support, training, data management, technology infrastructure, data center operations and telecommunication networks.

Tim Rose, VP of Business Development

Mr. Rose is responsible for business development activities at Avreo including channel partner relationships, business growth, and new products development involving integration of medical imaging AI and clinical research enablement with a focus on patient enablement and engagement. Prior to joining Avreo, Mr. Rose worked for 20 years in the medical imaging industry within various roles at GE Healthcare including product development, engineering leadership, and product management. He has extensive experience in diagnostic imaging having worked in modalities such as Computed Tomography, Molecular Imaging, and Xray along with digital product solutions including PACS, VNA, and Enterprise Imaging. Mr. Rose is passionate about technology and advanced development and currently holds seven patents pertaining to medical imaging systems and radiology workflow.

Alison McKee, VP of Marketing and Product Management

Ms. McKee is responsible for overseeing marketing and product management activities within Avreo including advertising, product documentation, and requirements and specifications research. In addition, she acts as a liaison for customer requested software enhancements and is a member of the product roadmap team responsible for ongoing product direction. Ms. McKee has over 16 years of experience in medical imaging software. Prior to joining Avreo, Ms. McKee worked as a Technical Writer developing comprehensive documentation, interactive online training, and onsite training plans for Aspyra PACS.

John Lucak, VP of Development

Mr. Lucak is a Software Architect with extensive experience in medical imaging. He worked for Picker International as the Chief Software Architect for the MR Division for nearly 15 years. With an in-depth understanding of the MR modality as well as other modalities such as CT, Nuclear Medicine and X-ray, Mr. Lucak appreciates the complexities of medical images. He also worked for eMed Technologies, developing solutions for delivering imaging and results over the web and was the lead developer for an innovative new PACS workstation.

Minh DoVan, VP of Research

Mr. DoVan is a Software Architect with extensive experience in medical imaging. His experience includes software development, architecture, and management at eMed, DOME Imaging Systems, Duke University Medical Center and AT&T Bell Laboratories. His main focus over the years has been development of software libraries, applications, and systems targeted towards medical imaging systems.

Perry Schwalb, Director of Professional Services, Co-Founder

Mr. Schwalb is responsible for overseeing Professional Services within Avreo including infrastructure management, software upgrades, and resolving challenging technical issues related to both hardware and software. In addition, he acts as a liaison to the Product Management Team to provide information relating to the supportability of the product. Prior to Co-Founding Riptide Technologies, later renamed Avreo, he gained extensive Healthcare IT experience when working for LSU Medical Center in New Orleans for almost 15 years. His most recent position was Assistant to the Dean for the School of Medicine where he was called upon to develop a Technical Support Organization which supported all aspects of the school use of computer technology.

Nick Chesney, VP of Customer and Channel Partner Service

Mr. Chesney is responsible for overseeing customer and channel partner services. Prior to joining Avreo, Mr. Chesney worked for a large integrated health care system, Geisinger Medical Center. As a Senior Technical Analyst, he was responsible for IT support management and PACS administration. In addition, he managed hospital networks, hardware, EHRs, PACS, modality installation and management, and created documentation of system wide IT processes. His extensive experience in PACS administration, management, and support provided him with the foundation to manage company-wide customer service operations at Avreo for 7 years prior to taking on his current role.
