KLAS Ranks Avreo #1 RIS/PACS Solution for Community Hospitals in 2008
CHARLESTON, SC, NOVEMBER 19, 2008 – Avreo announced today that KLAS Enterprises, LLC, an independently owned and operated healthcare research organization, has ranked Avreo 1st in the 2008 Community Hospital PACS report. Avreo’s interWORKS and interVIEW products earned a high score of 93.7 out of 100, well above the average 83.2 average performance score. The report evaluated PACS systems from 24 vendors and results are based on the interviews of over 600 community hospitals.
Avreo received many of the leading scores in the product and technology indicators, support measurements, and business relationship categories. For receiving the highest overall performance score in the 2008 report KLAS ranked Avreo PACS as #1 in the Community Hospital PACS market.
Avreo’s interWORKS and interVIEW products were developed from the ground up as a single application, which includes PACS, RIS, Transcription, Digital Dictation, and Auto Report Delivery. Unlike many competitors’ RIS offerings, Avreo’s RIS is utilized by a significant portion of the client base. In the sample interviewed for this study, 40 percent of respondents utilized the Avreo RIS.
